Preventing Future Infestations
Once we have successfully removed the mice from your property, it’s important to take steps to prevent future infestations. Our team at Wildlife Resolutions can provide you with expert advice and solutions to keep your home or business rodent-free.
Some preventive measures include:
- Sealing cracks and holes in your property to prevent mice from entering
- Keeping food stored in airtight containers to avoid attracting rodents
- Regularly cleaning and decluttering your space to eliminate potential nesting areas for mice
- Installing rodent-proofing materials such as wire mesh and door sweeps
By taking these proactive steps, you can minimize the risk of future infestations and maintain a pest-free environment. Contact Wildlife Resolutions today to learn more about our preventive measures and keep your property protected.
Rodents Can Endanger Humans & Pets
Rodents are unusually smart pests. Mice and rats have more complicated behavior patterns than insect pests. They are highly adaptable to difficult situations and learn how to overcome obstacles very quickly. This means that some of the usual pest control methods may not be effective in treating a rodent infestation.
Mice and rats typically enter your property looking for a safe place to call home, reproduce, and raise their young. Unfortunately, your property may be the perfect place for these growing families. If you have things such as exposed food or trash out in the open, it can be very attractive to rodents looking for shelter. They typically enter your property through vents, windows and doors, or even holes around appliances.
Rodents can cause physical damage to your home or commercial property, but can also spread dangerous diseases or aggravate some health conditions, such as:
- Hantavirus
- Bubonic plague
- Asthma
- Allergies
The above list is by no means complete — rats and mice can spread other diseases that can be harmful to humans and pets alike. This is one reason that we do not recommend that you attempt to remove rodents from your property alone. We have the proper equipment and training to safely and effectively remove rodents from your property.

If we has previously installed metal guards in soffit areas or on the ridge vent, we can remove these before the roof work is done so that they can be reinstalled once the new roof is on. This is only feasible if the new roof is the same design and material as the roof we worked on.
